WTF does every second-rate software house copy Microsoft's "We cut corners in our software development" rounded corner packaging these days? Must add hugely to the cost of packing and it isn't fooling anyone, I hope.

Hrumph. If people will buy half written software so 70% of the price of properly written software - which they will it in the companies interest to scimp.

I'm not a fan of microsoft but I've seen Raymond Chen at microsoft rant about this frequently (google for 'developer taxes raymond chen').
