Anyone else notice that it's 10 / 9 / 08?

Okay, 9 / 10 / 08 for the US crowd, but you get your countdown day next month.

And in the countdown to the LHC going live today there was a Torchwood radio episode; must remember to listen to it if I can get the BBC web site to work.

I prefer the more rational 08/09/10. And now with 3 different ways to look at it, you might begin to see why the ISO format works so much better for everyone; it's very hard to misinterpret 2008/09/10, although that presents fewer opportunities for neat number combinations. Ah well.
