Can anyone point me at a Windows or OS-X astronomical orbit plotter, preferably freeware, that'll show the orbits of the nine planets and the larger asteroids in the 22nd century? I don't want fancy graphics - I just want to be able to do something like this

Unfortunately the DOS software I used for the orbit map won't work with Windows (and believe me I've tried), so I'm looking for something a bit more modern.

Later Almost as soon as I posted that I thought of trying a search on the author's name, located the program again, and discovered that the version I have on my PC is missing some files. It now works - it's still a low-res DOS program but it works.

I really can't believe that there isn't something equivalent for Windows that works for the 22nd century and doesn't insist on showing fancy graphics I don't want! Anyway, it's

Does it work in DOSBox?

See update - turned out I had a couple of files missing.

All I have to do now is try to remember how I saved images from it - pressing print screen doesn't work...

Further to this, thanks for suggesting Dosbox - while the program works without it, it's just what I need for the screen dump part.

You can try Celestria. It's a freeware program that let's you customize the images of each planet and I've seen some really good images come out of it.

Sorry - I thought I'd replied yesterday, but evidently not. Basically, I just want to do very basic orbit plotting - I know what Celestia can do but there doesn't seem much point including loads of screen shots etc. when it's free anyway!
