I wouldn’t have thought that satellite would give you enough bandwidth for safe surgery
With Lex's resources a satelite can have as much bandwidth as the owner wants, (within reason , but multiple 10Mbs is not unreasaonable). However you can't easily reduce the latency , eg transit time,of the link. Mind you operating a remote arm with a 250ms latency for surgery would be a very skilled job if you could do it at at all. It's not clear to me who said that but I don't think that the sort of error Gibbs would make - or allow stand.
Not that it matters if someone had uploaded an AI to the master computer....
