Bicycle rental update

Forgot to post this yesterday - a dozen or so of the metal receptacles for rental bikes have appeared in Pembridge Road at the end of Portobello Road. This one seems to make a fair amount of sense, except there's the usual problem of it being a fairly narrow road - and in this case it's also a bus route, where traffic is often clogged especially when two buses try to go in opposite directions. It's not quite the worse part of that road, but nearly. Add inexperienced cyclists to the mix...
