Paging [livejournal.com profile] feorag...

It's really a shame Victorian monorails didn't look like this

It is fabulous, isn't it. Must remind [livejournal.com profile] autopope of my upcoming birthday ;-)

It is - and I belatedly realise it looks vaguely like the weird Irish light rail thing circa 1900.

WANT. What with JC's fascination with all things rail these days, this could make a strategic 'gift'. Which is what I've discovered having a kid is all about, particularly a boy. All those toys I wanted as a child and no one gave me because I was a girl? Hot damn, now I get to pick them out, give them and get heaps of smiles, and best yet? Play with them. Why didn't I figure this out sooner?

I'd buy one if I had the room.
