Give me a shot of red-eye...

I had an eye examination today (which fortunately turns out to be good news, I don't have any immediate problems) which included a retinal examination, for which they had to give me drops to dilate my pupils.
It's started to wear off a bit, though I'm still seeing a halo around lights etc., but I never realised they could dilate this much:

Picture with IntelPlay QX-3 digital microscope, x10 (probably actually x10 area mag, about x3.2 in normal terms). Bear in mind that I took this about two hours after the examination, and with a fairly bright light shining into my eye, my pupils were still open this wide!
I've put this on Wikimedia Commons if anyone has a use for it.
