Friends Freinds Friends...
Nov. 22nd, 2004 08:45 pmAs a break from writing I've just gone through my Friends list, deleted a couple, and added fifteen or twenty people who have friended me and seem to be reasonably interesting on a VERY fast scan of their recent entries. Got through about half of them before apathy set in, I'll try to take a proper look at the rest sooner or later.
Note: If your journal uses tiny pastel letters on a pastel background, or tiny white letters on a black background, I probably didn't friend you irrespective of other merits because I couldn't be arsed to strain my eyes reading your journal. Sorry about that.

I believe that the onus is on the person with the message to put it in an easy to understand format - if they won't make the effort to make it readable, I don't see why I should try to decipher their code. I would make an exception for dyslexics, except that I don't need to since all the dyslexics I know write perfectly clearly.
Ooh, I'm ranty tonight. Sorry!

Date: 2004-11-22 01:55 pm (UTC)In any case, I'm a big fan of your work, having used it in my Castle Falk campaign, and I'm anxiously awaiting the newest edition. If I can get my courage screwed to the sticking place, I'm hoping to show you my Victoriana Tony Stark fanfic, The Iron Gentleman.
Cheers,
JT

Date: 2004-11-22 03:56 pm (UTC)Interestingly, despite my bad habit of setting up editors to default to really tiny fonts, my view of your journal is about as small as I can cope with! It's just large enough that I don't have to squint, probably because I have a high screen resolution on a small acreage (or a laptop, as I prefer to call it) and haven't bothered adjusting my defaults.
