The only thing I might like to see a bit more of — but which doesn't really fit with your writing style — is emotional nuance between the characters, rather than just straight dialogue.
Other than that, I'm glad you paid a return visit to the Omphalos 'verse. I find it amusing that Sisko is a woman this time around, and I can't help but wonder what changed along the line to affect his her chromosomes.
And darn it, now I want to know what a female Sisko is like compared to a male Sisko.
