Just reading through the FF rules one last time before I put the new version on line, and I came across one of my favourite lines.

It seems unlikely that anyone reading this has fought a gun battle on the wings of a biplane, or unravelled a sinister web of deceit to unmask the machinations of an ancient cult and a nameless evil from beyond the stars.

It belatedly occurs to me that I have never actually fact-checked this.

So, ignoring RPGs for the moment:

It wasn't exactly a duel, or indeed a biplane, but I did once have a punch-up standing on one of those coin-operated plane rides outside the Asda in Bromsgrove. Does that count?
