Well, that didn't go quite as planned. No players for two of the three games, only two for the third. But I sold some books and CDs, made £30.20 for Cancer Research UK and a little for myself. Not a wasted day.
Maybe the table you had didn't help matters. On a busy corner like that, and within earshot of the noisey cloudships game, it didn't seem very conducive to sitting down for a RP session.
Trouble was I got there late - entirely my own fault - and the table they'd kept for me had been moved or something, I didn't learn the details. So there was a last minute scramble to find somewhere to put me, find a table and chairs, etc. They initially put me even closer to the Cloudships game, then had to move me because I was blocking traffic. I think that the position actually helped me in selling stuff, but it was a bit frustrating when it came to getting players and actually running a game.
