If anyone has been watching the BBC Springwatch program, the London peregrine falcon nest mentioned is just down the road from work, and it's possible to watch the adults flying in and out while simultaneously watching the webcam from the nest. Not that I've been lucky enough to see them yet, since I've spent most of the last couple of days working on a stock order in my prep room, which has a nice view of bugger all.

Anyway, if you like falcons there's the BBC's article and webcam (requires realplayer, unfortunately) at

I go past on the bus most mornings up the Marylebone Road - but have never seen them live. I presume they spend a lot of time in the park.

I'd imagine so. I've looked at the webcam, I've seen people in the street trying to spot them, more often than not I park next to the building where they're nesting, but I still haven't seen the birds themselves.
