I'd have a look over at www.pocketgpsworld.com - it's a British-based site, with extensive and very helpful forums as well; you shold be able to find someone who knows about the unit there.

Alternatively, if you've got a large-screen Android smartphone, you could do worse than looking up "NavFree" over on what they used to call the Android marketplace (I think they call it "Play" now, for some damn fool reason or other). It's free, and reasonably effective - and stores the maps on the phone, rather than downloading them on the fly over your 3g connection instead. It also makes use of the Open Street map data, which is a nice feature, too :)
