Looking up at the TV news and seeing feorag (I'm 99% sure) standing next to the penguin that just beat the Lib-Dem candidate in Edinburgh!

The bit I saw on News 24 was clearer. I was dead lucky, I just came in from the kitchen as it aired.

I haven't watched the footage (I've currently got Flash disabled on this computer, and it's probably an obsolete version anyway) but I think it's likely to have been feorag. It can't be any particular secret that she was standing as a Liberal (and I mean Liberal, not LibDem) candidate for Edinburgh council, as she's mentioned on her Twitter feed that she got all of 51 first preference votes.
