Now that's the sort of episode I like - it made sense, it wasn't solved by magic hand-waving, it didn't recycle an old villain for the umpteenth time, and it was FUN!
Also, the new companions were excellent! Suspect we won't see them again until we have another "the Doctor needs a lot of help" episode, unfortunately. Loved Rory's dad!
Solomon was David Bradley; I was thinking "Gosh, he reminds me of Lord Frey in Game of Thrones", which is not surprising as on checking he played him too.
That was definitely a lot of fun - and it's rather amusing that an episode in which there are dinosaurs on a spaceship wins points for actually making sense :-)
