Is there currently a PC or Mac version of the old Battlezone game but using modern resolutions? Don't mean the complicated command and control game, or the capture the flag game - I just want to trundle around the landscape shooting other tanks, but do it full screen rather than in the tiny windowed version that is the only Windows release I know of, from one of the old Microsoft games packs.

There's an Atari game bundle for the Ipad--

There seems to be an Android port of this, too. And a Nintendo DS. So maybe there's hope for PCs or Macs.

Interesting, but not really what I had in mind.

The original game used vector graphics, so if you use MAME it should look pretty good on modern screens.

I'm getting some security messages when I try that one - says the certificate can't be trusted. I'll check it out properly tonight.

No, the version in the windows game pack appears to have used bitmapped graphics as far as I can tell. It's a fixed windows size anyway, for a 640x480 screen.
