More evidence of approaching doom

ffuturesGot my Senior Railcard today (a discount on national rail services; the 60+ Oyster card I got the other day is free travel on London underground and buses). Again it seems to apply from the day of purchase, not my actual birthday.
Annoyingly the one 60+ privilege I could have really used this week, free prescriptions, doesn't cut in until my actual birthday. But that's life, I suppose.
