Resigned to my fate

Wrote my resignation / retirement letter tonight, I'll be handing it in tomorrow. They want to start interviewing, and it'll make things simpler if I've actually resigned, I think.

Huge relief to get it written, somehow.

I went for boring instead - and it's not that bad a job anyway, I get to blow things up occasionally, so why be rude?

That's good to hear, I understand a lot of people who work in schools hate it so much they start counting the days to go with years left.
