Best ending time for an ebay auction

What finishing day / time do things tend to get the highest prices on eBay? I tend to think evenings, but I've never really quantified it beyond that. Any thoughts? Reason I'm asking, I'm going to sell my Asus eepc901, really don't need it when I have the iPad and my old laptop, want to maximise the price.

I usually try and end mine between 7-9pm. I'm told ending at a weekend is better than mid-week, but I've not seen any evidence for that personally.

I've read, supposedly based on research, that Thursday and Sunday are the best days on which to end an auction, aiming for the evening. Generally I aim for about eight and I've had quite a bit of success following that strategy.

I'll give Sunday a try - maybe start on Thursday to end ten days later.
