It's been on two channels three times so far...

Not perfect, but great fun, especially the final scene which had the comics fan boy in me going "OOOK!", and I thoroughly recommend it.

Cool! I had no idea that this was going to be on terrestrial TV over here, or so soon. Thanks for the heads up!

I'm sorry I didn't mention it sooner.

They've still missed a trick by having it on almost a week after the US airing, I thought they'd learnt these days that for shows like that, they need to air them in the UK within a day or two.

(And I'm a bit worried because Channel 4 have a reputation now for trashing imported genre shows.)

But, yes, glad it's not just on Sky.

As of next week it'll be on Friday evening, so only 3 days after the USA.

My prediction is that thing Coulson isn't supposed to know? It will turn out that he worked it out ages ago, and he's cool with it.

I'm sure of it. My guess (and a lot of other peoples) is that he's an LMD, an android duplicate of the real Coulson, who is in a coma or dead. See e.g. the occasional jokes that don't come off - he's not quite up to speed yet.

Yes, it was rather fun. I'd not seen Avengers Assemble, but it turned out that that was available on Sky On Demand so I downloaded it and watched it first, but it turned out that that referred to a whole load of other films I'd not seen, and I've never been a Marvel fan. Still, it gave me some idea of what was going on.

While the Fantastic 4 franchise sucks, and Spider Man just seems to go over the same ground over and over again, the current batch of Avengers-related films are pretty good - Captain America, Iron Man 1-2, Thor and the most recent Hulk, building up to Avengers. Iron Man 3 since then, which introduced Extremis and some other stuff, and the next Thor and Captain America look promising too. Fingers crossed anyway.
