Stumbled onto this story this morning and I couldn't stop reading. I'm a slave to Veronica Mars and VM fic, and this is one of the best crossover's I've had the pleasure to read. I didn't realize how much I've missed the Buffy/Angelverse. Time to break out the DVD's. :)
The only nitpick I had was actually in this chapter.
"Lopez faxed us a copy of the hotel register, remember? Her name was immediately after Rosenberg's, with the same room number if you looked closely."
"Oh, I never noticed."
"That's why I'm the detective and you're the assistant. Anything else?"
As Mr. Rooks was so kind to point out, Veronica is. . . "unique. Gifted? Unsettling?" I think she would be a bit quicker on the uptake. Veronica may be a marshmallow, but she's far from naive.
Cordy was always one of my favs. This story is fabulous, and I can't wait for the next installment.
