Cheap Battlestar Galactica DVDs

gonzo21 points out that dvd.co.uk are selling the complete Battlestar Galactica (2004) region 2 collection for 18 quid - the forthcoming R1 set will apparently have more extras, but really don't care that much, just want to see the series. Have now ordered a set.

Oh, I will go grab one, haven't seen any off it but Dr Plokta says I will like it and Ron Moore did DS9, besides, it won a Hugo, must be good.

The Region 2 collection is £17.99 on play.com as well, seems to be the on-line going rate. The Region 1 collection isn't just Season 1, it includes the introductory mini-series from 2003 as well. Plus, as you say, lots more extras. The R2 set just has a few deleted scenes, whereas the R1 set has,

The R2 mini-series DVD is available for £7.99, but I think I may spend the extra four quid for the all-in-one R1 set to get the extras.

You'll love it, but the second series which is showing just absolutely kicks donkey, and is even better than the first. No spoilers, but last weeks episode wrenched at my heart at the end.
