Tags

Is there a program that'll let me edit the tags on entries without having to go through the full livejournal edit entry process? What I'd like to do is go through all my entries and tag them, but it'll be a horrible task if I have to use the normal method. What I'd like is something that showed me one entry at a time, starting from the first I ever made, and let me add tags to it if they weren't already there.

Aye. Use semagic (which is what I use). You can download it from

It has full support for tags, history and friends. You'll have to work through your history manually though.

That looks like it'll do some of what I want, but I was looking more for something that'll modify entries on a wholesale basis. I'll give it a shot anyway.

I'll see if there's something else I can come up with, but at least semagic can help you going forward. It's not the cleanest interface for software, but it has features for posting pictures as well as queuing posts.
