Anyone know anything about these? A bit low resolution, but it looks to be a better 3D camera than the horrible Praktica I tried a while ago. Very tempted to get one and give it a try.

The camera's rubbish; the build quality isn't bad. That's about what I paid for mine; they've been on closeout for a while.

If you have any interest in 3D at all and you don't already have one, you should get the Fuji W3; by far the best consumer digital 3D camera yet made, and now available for about £100. I don't think they sold very many.

I suppose so, I was just looking to dip my toes in without a huge expense, the Praktica was so bad it put me right off.

Re the W3 - is it possible to get two separate images from it, or do you only get the interlaced image?

By default you get a jpg and an MPO; the jpg is always the same one (I think the right hand picture). But MPO files are literally two jpgs mashed together, so if you need the other image you can grab it out of the MPO using any image processing software that can read MPO.

You will need something to manage your MPOs; I use Stereo Photo Maker -- which only runs on Macs virtualised. But nothing else is as good.

OK, I have stereo photo maker. I've also just picked up something that might sell for a good chunk of the price, we'll have to see.
