Paging Warhammer fans etc.

One of my nieces works in a charity shop which has been given a lot of figures which I think are for Warhammer 40K. I'm very out of touch with the system, I'd be very grateful if anyone who knows more can give me an idea what army etc. they are (or tell me if they aren't for W40K) and give me a ballpark figure on a plausible second hand value for them, per figure or as an army or something. Sorry about the quality of the pictures, I think she used her phone and scaled them down to send them to me.

Well they look like Chaos space marines.

If they are plastic, the value is pretty low. Metal ones get slightly better prices.

If you've still got a yahoogroups membership, this is the best place to ask to find out if they're rare/collectable ones:

Alas, I no longer have yahoogroups membership - used to have, then something went wrong and I couldn't log in and it wouldn't let me open a new membership. Also it sucked and spammed me big time, so I don't miss it.

Assuming nothing too rare, can you give me a ballpark figure? I suggested maybe £1 per figure, is that much too high?

I've asked the question. Hopefully somebody will recognise them and have a good idea of their worth. But yes, I'd guess probably around £1 per figure is a good guess. Those rare occasions I've spotted Warhammer figures in charity shops, they've usually been priced around £1.
