I do hope that wasn't the best bit of Ben Affleck acting they could find for the trailer, he just looked constipated.

It does seem really weird that it's taken them this long to think about having a team up in the DC-verse.

But yeah, I'd be excited were it not for the Affleck factor. Watching Daredevil on Netflix this week has really reminded me just how awful Affleck is.

Having watched Daredevil, and comparing this to it... this feels well... like a kid's idea of dark and gritty.

And it also makes me wonder what DC has against taking a chance on what makes Superman great, aka his ability to bring hope.

If Marvel could do that with Captain America, then why doesn't DC seem able to do the same with Superman?

I'm not really a fan of either, but Marvel does definitely seem to have had a much better grasp on how to make good movies than DC.

Exactly right - they've REALLY lost the plot on Superman, in comics too.
