Back in 2003 I seem to have written the first Preacher fanfic on several sites, so I'm hoping this'll succeed, but somehow I suspect that there will be a few problems.

I heard about this, mostly because of the cast - Dominic Cooper and Ruth Negga. It's on AMC, so it has a higher chance of succeeding I think - the cable channels push the boundaries a bit more.

They'd need to - really can't see the religious side of it going down well with a sizeable chunk of the US audience. Or British, for that matter.

Don't know the original, but I see it's got Ruth Negga in it. It wasn't that long ago I saw her as Ophelia in Hamlet at the National Theatre.
