ffuturesI use Nikon's ViewNX 2 software to store and keep track of my photos.
Today I discovered that a lot of the thumbnails now point to completely different photos - e.g. I click on a picture of the Albert Hall and it links to a picture of a box of zip disks. I can find the real pictures by looking into the directories the program uses, I think, but it's a PITA.
I suspect that whatever it uses to keep track of thumbnails and the real files has got out of whack somehow. Anyone know how to fix it? Or got a good recommendation for a replacement that won't cost an arm and a leg?
later - Panic over - there's a "clear cache" option for the software that fixed it.
