Yes it does look good. I do see some CGI with the vehicles, but it's not much. Do we know if it's hand drawn or the current fad of flash animation?

No idea - I'm guessing hand drawn with CGI since hand drawn is where they have the expertise.

I never watched Danger Mouse - I would have been at work - but perhaps I will this time around. I've really been enjoying the Clangers. I can't help wondering what happened to the baby soup dragon's father, though.

It used to be splendidly silly - I'm hoping they can still make that work.

I'd guess the soup dragon is a hermaphrodite, but you might just as well ask what happened to Grandpa Clanger and who will be parents to the next Clanger generation, these are things they really don't talk about (although there were a couple of unnamed Clangers in one or two of the original series episodes, but we never learned anything about them or their relationship to the main family).

If my theory is right and the Clanger planet is a piece of Time Lord engineering (see Space-Time for Clangers (http://archiveofourown.org/works/567052)) it's possible that they are all looped in time - Tiny and Small will eventually become Major and Mother etc. - and the baby Soup Dragon will eventually become its own mother.
