LJ have a survey up, presumably so they can determine which way to fuck up the site next:

It's probably worth filling it in just to point out that people do have friends, do belong to communities, use the friends page, etc. since they don't seem to have much of a clue.

Yeah, I kinda got the impression that the survey exists because the LJ braintrust seems to have a plan for removing f-lists and communities. Those questions were very loaded I thought.

Removing friends-lists would be daft: it would be taking away functionality that Facebook, albeit in a rather clunky manner, provides. My concern is that LJ will keep on trying to be more like FB, but even if I'm right with that I can't see why they'd want to be less functional than it.
