When I was writing a Fanlore entry about the British Space Patrol TV series (1963) and updating the Wikipedia entry, I kept coming across references to a German SF series of the 1960s, Raumpatrouille Orion, which basically translates as 'Space Patrol Orion'. The trouble is that there appears to be no English translation of the series as a whole; there's a TV movie based on bits of it which has English subtitles, and there appear to be some subtitled episodes on YouTube, but that's about it. Are there any fan-dubbed versions around, or anything of that sort?

Can't help with your question, but I wanted to point out the choreography.

I'd heard there was a DVD release with English subtitles some years ago - think Dave Lally had a copy - but when I found the DVDs in Cologne a while back, when I got them home I found no subtitles.

Yes, that's what Amazon etc. say. And the show seems fairly dialogue-heavy anyway, I think I'd prefer a dubbed version if possible.

I'm not a great fan of dubbing. The body language always seems wrong for what they are saying.

I was having trouble keeping up with the dialogue in the clips I looked at.
