An Apple Mighty Mouse (the USB version) which seems to work well, an Apple Mini-VGA to VGA adapter, and a Hauppauge digital TV USB adapter - just the stick itself, no software etc., but it works fine with Windows using the freeware NextPVR program. Total spent £4.70 including admission. I'll hopefully be able to sell all of them at a good profit.

Got home to find the Notting Hill Carnival well under way, now listening to the happy revellers puking in the street etc. as they head home.

Did you find a digital TV tuner? I have a dual tuner card in my PC, and love it.

We've got Chapeltown Carnival at the end of our road. Been running about as long as Notting Hill but doesn't seen to attract as many antisocial idiots. Worst parts mostly the bathroom window extracter rattling from the base line from second stage.

Thing is, I already have a TV in my office, and a hard disk recorder on the big TV in the next room. There might be a once in a blue moon use for it, but I can't quite think what for. Where this would be useful is a laptop, I suppose, but I use Mac and this stick isn't compatible so far as I can tell, so I might as well sell it.

Fortunately there are no big speaker stacks in the immediate vicinity this year - a few years ago the whole house was shaking with speakers at both ends of the street, and the council ended up changing the rules so it was a lot harder to have them too close together.
