Another bundle offer that I don't know much about:

"...one of the most admired third-party campaign settings for Pinnacle Entertainment's Savage Worlds RPG: Hellfrost from Triple Ace Games. Endlessly prolific designer Paul "Wiggy" Wade-Williams created this ice-bound fantasy world and wrote nearly every title in its vigorous support line. I'm pleased to present this appealing collection to the Savage Worlds community, an audience the Bundle site hasn't yet served well."

PLAYER'S COLLECTION (US$8.95 - retail value $34)
  • Hellfrost Player's Guide ($15)
    + Hellfrost Starter Pack (free)
[+ Savage Worlds Test Drive (free)]
  • Arcane Lore ($9)
  • Heroes & Villains Compendium ($10)
GAMEMASTER'S COLLECTION (threshold starts at $19.95 - retail value $70)
  • Bestiary ($20)
  • Gazetteer ($20)
  • Adventure Compendium I ($15)
  • Encounters Book 1 ($15)
All are DRM-free PDFs. As usual there's going to be at least one extra item announced later. The way this works is that the earlier you buy the GM's collection the cheaper it is - no matter when you buy it, you will get all bonus items.

Ten percent of each purchase (after gateway fees) goes to the Electronic Frontier Foundation.

Usual caveat - The main reason I know about this offer is because I'm on the list to get this stuff free if I want it. In this case I'm not very interested, but I think it's a reasonable deal. If I think these are bad deals I'll say so.

A quick question - I've posted about a lot of these bundles, I really don't want people to think I'm spamming their friends list. Is anyone finding this useful? Does anyone find this objectionable, or prefer if I don't do it? Would you like me to set up a custom friends list just for this? If I don't hear from you I'll assume you don't care.

I for one enjoy seeing these bundles even if I can rarely take advantage of them,

Never been anything I've actually needed - but they certainly don't bother me.

By the way, have you ever thought about joining the gaming/fic/etc. stream at Asylum? It occurred to me that FF would probably fit in.

The trouble is I'm not really a dressing up sort of person, and I suspect that if you don't do the costuming thing you miss out on a lot.

Good to know - thanks!

Mmm - Yes, I can see your point. Although to be honest I never made it to Westgate so I don't know quite what was the norm there. You already have the impressive beard which is definitely de rigeur amongst a large number of the gentleman.

Actually my favourite non-costume was the gentleman in a kilt and shirt with a nice cup and saucer in a holster as the only slightly out of the ordinary touch!

I'm already on their email list, so I clearly have an interest, so it doesn't bother me at all seeing it here. :)

I do not find them objectionable. It's a good cause.
