I'm tempted, especially if I can get them to pay a fortune for it then say "sorry, I've changed my mind about buying it," but I really doubt it works like that. And it's actually the domain provided by my hosting company, my other URLs simply point to it, so it would be a bit tricky to sell it off...

I'd imagine so - but given they are the gurus of whois you'd think they'd use it to eliminate stupidity like this.

Not really practical - I'm pretty sure that the first thing they do when you take them up on the offer is run a whois search.
