Paging [livejournal.com profile] autopope and [livejournal.com profile] bohemiancoast - a cheap route to 3D on phones and ipads etc. Really doubt it works well without endless adjustments...

The interesting question for [livejournal.com profile] autopope, of course is if Scorpion Stare will work through it?

Wow. Truth really is stranger than fiction. I'll bet the first 3D apps for that will be out within days of it hitting the street, if they don't come as part of the package.

I'll believe this when I see it, and I think it will be disappointing as a 3d tool (though you could do a split mirror attachment much better for this than for the existing single lens).

I have a Poppy which basically does this with an integrated viewer; it manages to keep the split mirror lens in position rather more securely than I think this will. It does not take very good pictures but is an interesting curiosity.
