Finally saw this today - very pleased that they haven't watered down the insane violence and fourth wall breaking. A lot of fun.
Then went on to the London SF group meeting, the last to be held at the Inns of Court, where it turned out that the room normally used was booked for a corporate event, and various fans ended up in a gallery above the main pub which was incredibly noisy. Lasted about 3/4 hour before my head started aching, then gave up and went home. Next month the Bishop's Finger instead; a nice pub that can give us a reasonably sized room, and a very easy tube journey from here.

Date: 2016-03-03 10:09 pm (UTC)We got the music switched off and colonised downstairs, so it was better, although still hot. I had two pints of good beer and one of the best prawn sandwiches I have ever eaten. We left early because we are knackered and it's Mancunicon in 3 weeks time. See you there.
