Freeview clocks?
Oct. 30th, 2005 10:25 amAnyone else in the UK noticing that their Freeview box is still running on BST, not GMT? I've got two, and both are doing this - they switched from GMT to BST correctly, WTF aren't they changing back? I suppose I'd better check out the BBC website etc...
Later: Finally went to the right time some time in the last hour or so (between 2 and 3). I wonder how many thousand people have had video recordings screwed up as a result.

Date: 2005-10-31 11:05 am (UTC)The same thing happens after a power cut (of which we've had several before a £300 fix of our boiler), the freeview box clock reads 00:00 but turning it on and off picks up the correct time.
There was also a problem with CEEFAX who give out the Videoplus codes. They didn't reset their clock properly over the weekend leading to more unhappy punters.
