I just wish they wouldn't cancel the good stuff whenever they want to show sport, but that's a whole different argument which will hopefully be a thing of the past when everyone is using terrestrial digital.

Binatone WIFI card

I got a Binatone Air-Link+ WL 1000 WIFI card in Maplin's recent sale and was disappointed by its performance; it didn't connect reliably, and said that signal strength was low when it was only a few feet from the transmitter.

It turns out that the software on the CD that comes with the card is old, and there is a new driver which cures this completely.

Select WL 1000 to download a zip file containing a new driver and configuration program, about 2.8 mb, now working very well indeed.
