Binatone WIFI card

ffuturesI got a Binatone Air-Link+ WL 1000 WIFI card in Maplin's recent sale and was disappointed by its performance; it didn't connect reliably, and said that signal strength was low when it was only a few feet from the transmitter.
It turns out that the software on the CD that comes with the card is old, and there is a new driver which cures this completely.
