The White Stuff.

When will I learn to keep my (metaphorical) mouth shut? On Sunday two friends in the US posted about problems with snow. Needless to say I did my "oh, no snow to speak of in Britain so far, why do people always get that wrong in fanfic" shtick. And needless to say it started snowing last night. Not a lot, it's millimetres deep on the ground so far rather than feet, but it's still coming down and I'd imagine the roads are going to get fairly slippery if it settles more. Which, given that I ride a motorbike, means trouble. It's probably safe enough now, but by the time I leave work things may be different. If it hasn't stopped by 8 I think I'd better take the tube.
