"Copy this sentence into your livejournal if you're in a non-same-sex marriage, and you don't want it "protected" by the bigots who think that gay marriage hurts it somehow."

Well, I'm not married or planning to, but I can't imagine why anyone should think that same-sex marriage hurts other forms. Surely it strengthens the institution of marriage as a whole, if everyone agrees that it's important? That's my impression anyway.

While I don't have any stake in this I think that the protection argument is silly. And that's about it, really.
