Here's a meme I've seen several times before (and have done once before); since it seems to be going around again (most notably seen in the capable hands of
selenak and
curiouswombat) I thought I'd give it another shot.
1) Make a list of fifteen characters first, and keep it to yourself for the moment.
2) Ask your f-list to post questions in the comments. For example: "One, nine, and fifteen are chosen by a prophecy to save the world from four. Do they succeed?", "Under what circumstances might five and fourteen fall in love?", "Which character on the list would you most want on your side in a zombie invasion?"
3) After your f-list has stopped asking questions, round them up and answer them using the fifteen characters you selected beforehand, then post them.
I've written a list of characters, to make it interesting each is from a different fandom I've written for, and all of them are characters I've actually written about to the extent of giving them dialogue or describing their actions.
Want to ask questions about them? Here's the list of fandoms fanfiction.net thinks I've written for, it's actually a lot more but I'll limit myself to this subset:
Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, Angel, Sandman, West Wing, Stargate: SG-1, Buffy X-overs, Harry Potter, Batman, StarTrek: Deep Space Nine, Pirates of the Caribbean, X-overs, Marvel, Men In Black, Lois and Clark, Highlander, CSI: Miami, Doctor Who, Book X-overs, Superman, Torchwood, Misc. Movies, Babylon 5, NCIS, Bones, Batman Begins/Dark Knight, Young Wizards, Wallace and Gromit, Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles, Hancock, Avengers, Supergirl, Ghostbusters, CSI, Wildstorm Heroes, Misc. Comics, Misc. Books, Misc. Tv Shows, Superman, Dogma, Vertigo, Green Lantern, Lord of the Rings, Mission: Impossible, Terminator, St. Trinian's, Thunderbirds, Smallville, Janet Evanovich, X-Men, Wonderfalls, Captain Scarlet, CSI: New York, MI-5/Spooks, CHIPs, Veronica Mars, Constantine, Perry Mason, Watchmen, Dead Like Me, TV X-overs, Doom, Dexter, Movie X-overs, Scooby Doo, James Bond, Sarah Jane Adventures, Battlestar Galactica: 2003, Austin Powers, Discworld, Good Omens, Space 1999, True Blood, Zombie Survival Guide, Twilight, Supergirl, Castle, and Avengers.
I'll do the answers tomorrow or as soon as I have enough prompts to make it worthwhile.
Note - to avoid gender and other biases I've used the randomiser at random.org to randomise the list.
OK - now closed - posting the answers momentarily

Today's Charity Shop Bargains
Mar. 2nd, 2013 10:45 pmWere the Savage Worlds RPG and its superhero supplement Necessary Evil, both at £3. Both very pretty hardcover books in as-new condition, and look worth a quick read and place in my collection. The same shop also had a couple of Palladium RPG supplements, but I'm really not that big a masochist, even in a good cause...
Sad PS on Robin Sachs
Mar. 2nd, 2013 11:53 pmI think I mentioned that Robin Sachs (Ethan Rayne in Buffy, and a lot of other roles) died last month, aged 61. What I didn't mention, because I didn't know, is that my parents and his were friends; they lived a few hundred yards from here, and when I was two or three we apparently played together quite often, according to my sister. And I really don't remember it at all, which is a shame.
