Today's charity shop bargain...

Another lens - an old 500mm F8 telephoto that looks about the same as those sold by Photax, Unitor, etc. and is pretty clean considering it must be fairly old - for a tenner. Since it was getting dark when I got home I haven't been able to determine if it works better than my 500mm mirror lens, which is pretty crappy but a lot easier to carry around - it isn't nearly 2ft long! I think I might end up selling both of them, since my long zoom goes to 300mm and I have a 2x converter, and I think the results may actually be better...
