I was away over the weekend at Continuum - a very fun con indeed - but came back today to clear skies, and finally used the telescope in anger tonight. This is the best of several pictures (with camera and telescope but no eyepiece magnification, I haven't figured out to use the telescope lens to boost magnification. I haven't managed to get a decent picture of any planets yet but here's the moon:





I'm not convinced the sky is dark enough for much better results in London - this isn't hugely better than I've managed with a camera lens - but I'll try again, we'll see how it goes.
