Greg Stafford (1948-2018)

I just saw in James Nicoll's blog that Greg Stafford, one of the all-time greats of game design, died on Thursday. He's responsible for Runequest, Call of Cthulhu, and a whole shedload of other games based on the Basic Role Playing system used for Runequest, and of course founder of Chaosium Inc. which published them. I wrote for him a few times and met him at several conventions, and he was always a pleasure to talk to. He'll be greatly missed.
