Mice! And other boot-fair stuff

Yesterday I picked up an Apple Magic Mouse (the bluetooth one that also sort of works as a trackpad) for rather less than I expected. And today I found two more Apple mice - another of the early USB "puck" ball mice from an iMac G3, and a nice clean Mighty Mouse from 2006-ish. All ludicrously cheap, so hopefully profitable. Also a PCI USB card and a PoweBook G4 charger made in 2000, which is technically the last millennium! Hopefully someone will buy this stuff - the last puck mouse I got is currently on £8 on eBay, which isn't bad considering I got it for 50p. Nothing interesting on the photographic side, but I did well last weekend - and there's still tomorrow...

For myself, a couple of DVDs - Arrietty and My Neighbour Totoro, which I've seen but didn't actually own. Looking forward to watching it again.

Weird but true - I picked up a black and a white Pro mouse today! But I don't have any spare USB keyboards apart from a Windows one. If it helps, Cex are doing the white plastic one you want for £12, and the bluetooth version (but you'll need a bluetooth stick that works with G4) for £10.

I'll have the Pro Mouse for some reasonable amount -- I'd suggest 80% of what you think it would sell for on eBay if that's agreeable to you? -- and pick it up at next month's Tun.

I should have specified wired keyboard; the plan is to get the iMac into more or less original spec. I might just get the CEX keyboard at this point, unless you think you're likely to pick up a white Mac Pro keyboard any time soon.

OK, I'm selling one on Ebay now, you can have one for 80% of the final price I get for it.

CEX occasionally have the Pro keyboards for £4, but they're out of stock at present - also, they don't distinguish between the black and white ones when you order, and the last one I got was black. I don't think I can hold out much hope of having any spare keyboards myself any time soon, I seem to use them as fast as I get them, and two I've bought this year turned out to have buggered electronics, I've ended up selling them a key at a time for people who are refurbishing old keyboards.

Perfect! I have realised I already bought this iMac a keyboard, so it should be all ready to find its forever home now. Though it might need an airport card...
