Foggy

London (or at least this bit of it) appears to be a bit foggy today. I can just about make out the motorway a couple of hundred yards away, but the buildings beyond it are pretty much whited out. I'm going to venture out to a car boot fair a little later, since it's the last one at that venue until the new year, but I suspect it will be very quiet and that I will end up shopping instead.

Update - got two quite nice lenses - a SMC Pentax-FA 28-70mm AL autofocus lens that appears to be in perfect condition (but I can't test since I don't have a suitable body right now) and a really old Pentacon 135mm F2.8 which for some reason has some sort of weird interchangeable lens mount (not T-mount or anything I'm familiar with) in Nikon fit. It appears to be in pretty good nick, except that the rear element is very smeary and may possibly need to be cleaned internally, and when it isn't (a) evening and (b) misty I'll try it out. Also a box of floppies that turned out to be 720k when I took a closer look - might be ideal for an older Atari or something.

Nothing like that here - calm and a bit misty, but the predicted daytime temperature in London over the next few days is 6-10 degrees centigrade, about 43-50 F. Even Scotland is well above freezing at the moment.

It was quite foggy here in Guildford when I went to bed last night just after midnight. I woke up around six this morning and looked out the window and the fog seemed to have cleared, but when I finally got up around nine, the fog was back. Clear now, but not bright out.

It hasn't been too bad here - a bit misty but reasonably warm for the time of year.
