After an aeon of just over five weeks my washing machine has gone wrong again.

Pump this time, I think.

I am never buying Hotpoint again.

UPDATE - Amazingly, I called this morning and the engineer turned up at 1 PM and (pause to knock wood) fixed it. One thing that amused me (and usually does whenever I see a new engineer) is that he blamed the previous guy for the problem. I suspect that the next guy will blame him, and so forth...

Thanks. I am just REALLY annoyed at this point, but I suppose there is no real reason why it should not go wrong two different ways in five weeks, given how often it has gone wrong in the past. We'll see what happens.

Amazingly the service guy turned up today and fixed it! (knock wood)
