I don't know...One of the things that undoes many manips is that the eyelines are wrong. In this case, the gun's not pointing where he's looking. Maybe it's because he's a feeble old man who can't hold the gun steady, but looking at that, despite the look on his face, I'm thinking, "If he pulls the trigger, he's gonna miss me."

True - trouble is that I'm really not a very good artist, and couldn't find a picture of a gun being pointed directly at the viewer that looked right.

Of course a lot does depend on what part of your body he's shooting at...
