Can anyone remind me which book by A Bertram Chandler has a section in which Captain Grimes (having once again fallen into some sort of dimensional anomaly) finds himself at a club for fictional characters, where Jeeves decides that he probably doesn't have much staying power as a character. Grimes then somehow finds his way to his creator (Chandler) and complains about it.
